Payment
Payment must be received by us before any material leaves our premises. Unless
you have been given account status, where then all accounts and
payments are due in 30 days from date of purchase.
Telephone Orders will be honoured, but payment MUST be made via
Bank Transfer same day.
All Payments not received within 14 days will be passed directly
to our Debt Collection agency.
Payment can be made via Postal Order, Bank Transfer and Direct
payments to our Business Bank Account.
Delivery dates
From time to time we may incur a few problems; stock may be late
in arriving, or there may be delivery problems, which are out of
our control. Therefore all quoted times and dates are provisional,
and quoted with the information we have at the time of the quote
and to the best of our knowledge.
You are advised to order early for important or urgent requirements.
Remember for certain orders, the material needs to be ordered in,
so please allow plenty of time when ordering.
Generally you can expect your order in the same week - if you have
not received it within 5 days email
us and we will chase up the order.
Sometimes during excessively busy weeks your order may be delayed
a few days.
Although we will endeavour to dispatch all orders within the quoted
time frame, we cannot be held accountable for problems out of our
control.
Our system is very reliable but in the highly unlikely case of
a problem which is beyond our control (e.g. staff illness, technical
failures etc.), we will do everything in our power to contact you
to arrange an alternative.

We do not represent or warrant that the information accessible
via this site is accurate, complete or current, or that use of the
site is free of risk of viruses or other damage. Price and availability
information is subject to change without notice.
If the goods AH Mead & Son Engineering Ltd delivers are incorrect
or are damaged, defective or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity,
AH Mead & Son Engineering Ltd shall have no liability to you
unless you notify AH Mead & Son Engineering Ltd in writing to
the AH Mead & Son Engineering Ltd contact address with details
of the problem within 10 working days of the delivery of goods in
question.
If you do not receive goods ordered by you within 30 days of the
date on which they were despatched to you, AH Mead & Son Engineering
Ltd shall have no liability to you unless you notify AH Mead &
Son Engineering Ltd in writing at the AH Mead & Son Engineering
Ltd contact address of the problem within 40 days of the date on
which the goods were despatched to you.
If you notify AH Mead & Son Engineering Ltd of a problem under
this condition, AH Mead & Son Engineering Ltd 's only obligation
will be, at its option:- to make good any shortage or non-delivery;
to replace or repair any goods that are damaged or defective; or
to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question
to the original method of payment, unless such method is no longer
valid in which case a credit note will be issued to the value of
due refund.
Deliveries to Personal Addresses
AH Mead & Son Engineering Ltd is mainly a business to business
company and we are happy to ship via our couriers products from
our business to yours.
Please be aware if you have not told us that delivery is made to
a residential address and we get charged via our couriers, you will
be liable for the extra premium.
Custom Work and Cash on Collection Purchases
If you have asked that we carry out custom work for you, or ask
us to carry out work for you, which you will collect at a later
date, then, a non refundable deposit of half the total amount payable
will be required before the work is started.
Deposits are non refundable should the customer decide that they
no longer need the work after it is started.
Cancellation of Orders
Under the United Kingdom's Consumer Protection (Distance Selling)
Regulations 2000, UK customers have the right to cancel the contract
for the purchase of any item from the day the contract is made until
seven days have elapsed since the day after goods were received.
To cancel your contract, please notify us in writing within this
timescale. We will refund the relevant part of the purchase price
within 30 days of your cancellation and our terms of contract provide
that the item(s)
For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded delivery
service and never use 'return to sender'. We will not accept liability
for damage or loss caused by the carrier whilst items are in return
transit.
Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning
the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or
the item is defective.
